FOOTBALL fans at Howard Davis Park are due to get a musical treat ahead of tonight’s Euros semi-final clash between England and the Netherlands.
La Ronde Concert Band will play in the open-air fan zone from 7.15pm until kick-off at 8pm.
There will be a range of songs from the 30-piece group, including England fan favourite Sweet Caroline, by Neil Diamond, Whitney Houston’s One Moment in Time and the James Bond theme from For Your Eyes Only and Goldfinger.
Band conductor and director of music Charlotte Cooper said: “I am over the moon that we are playing at this exciting time.â€
The band is a registered charity and will be raising money for Mencap Â鶹·¬ºÅ with tonight’s performance.
No alcohol is permitted to be brought to the family-friendly fan zone.
The final, on Sunday, will also be screened.
